This is one of Takom's first three 1/35 Tiger kits, which share most of their parts. The other two are Tiger I mid production and Tiger I "Otto Carius".
This kit builds a "Late" Tiger, in either the standard or Command variants. The latter has additional antenna positions and a small number of extra features. A standard battalion was supposed to have 42 normal Tigers and 3 Command Tigers.
This kit includes Zimmerit, a metal gun barrel, transparencies for the periscopes, link-and-length tracks with separate guide horns, metal tow cables and P.E. mesh screens for the rear deck. There are also a number of diorama accessories including an oil drum, buckets and jerrycans. The kit has four sets of decals (but two of them may not be valid).
The kit's instructions are confusing as regards the optional parts.
