The kit's subject
The kit seems to build a standard Early Tiger constructed anywhere in the range January to June 1943. Several detail changes were made to the Tiger during this time, and the kit has optional parts for them. Eight sets of decals are included (for six distinct Tigers) covering this whole period.
There are also some optional parts in the kit for earlier versions of Tiger (December 1942). But the kit doesn't have decals to accompany them. Takom's CAD images highlight these parts, while showing combinations of parts that did not occur in real Tigers. It seems likely that the instruction set will give incorrect configurations for the decal schemes, if they give any at all.
