The kit
This non-interior Tiger kit builds any of three Tigers that served at the Third Battle of Kharkov. This is not merely an "Early Tiger" kit with new decals, because the Tigers at this battle had some differences from the typical "Early" version. They had a siginficantly larger turret bin that was attached by side bars.
Most of these Tigers survived and went on to serve at the Battle of Kursk. However, this kit provides decals for the Kharkov period only.
The first "Battle of Kharkov" Tiger kit was produced by Dragon Models in 2020, and Border's kit seems to be inspired by that one. All three of Border's decal schemes are the same as schemes in the Dragon kit, although 40 Tigers were at the battle.
