The Tiger remained in service to the end of the war. This kit represents the final version of the vehicle, distinguished by its crane mounts on the turret roof.
This kit is one competitor in a crowded field of kits, including Dragon's "Tiger I Late Production" and Trumpeter's "Late Tiger".
Decals for 5 different Tigers are included. There is a turned metal gun barrel, photo-etched air vent covers, and one-piece flexible tracks. The track tension is maintained by metal springs.
