Michael Wittman's last, fatal engagement was fought in this Tiger, one of the command tanks of his unit, which he had owned for a month.
The Tiger "007" is known from only a single photograph, which was studied carefully to make this kit an accurate rendition. The build date of the Tiger was deduced and its features followed from that. The only open question is whether the turret roof was 25mm or 40mm; both are included in this kit.
A sheet of photo-etch, metal air vent covers, one-piece flexible tracks, and metal cables are included.
