Depending on your kit, there may be 1 or 2 headlights. The instructions ask you to assemble them like so:
In fact, the headlights could be removed and stored inside the tank to protect them during combat. This rule was not always obeyed, but there are many photos of Tigers without visible headlights.
Although the instructions may not mention them, the kit does provide the empty sockets.
