Description
This is one of the first 20 Tigers that were issued to s.Pz.Abt.503. This one is a Befehlstiger, and the only one of 20 to have the new standard turret bin. Like all Befehlstigers it had the new turret-side hatch, but it retained the old Type 2 side skirts and slanting front hull edges. Its mantlet was the standard thickened type. Its right-hand headlamp mount is missing in all known photos, but that could just be damage. Both of the rear mudflaps are also missing in all photos.
