Description
Tiger 221 served in the 2nd company, s.Pz.Abt. 501 in Tunisia. It was badly damaged and recovered on 31 January 1943. We have sketches, not photos, of its battle damage. An unpublished photo shows that it was eventually returned to service, but it had probably been used as a source of spare parts, because four road wheels in that photo are replacements.
