Description
After arriving in Bizerte, the 3rd and 4th platoons of the 2nd company of s.Pz.Abt.501 travelled to Tunis on 24th January 1943, crossing the Oued Medjerda at Jedeida. A press photographer accompanied them. At one point, Tiger 243 left the road and returned across a ditch purely to create a dramatic photograph.
