Description
This Tiger broke down on the 100km retreat of s.Pz.Abt. 504. Its engine hatch was opened, indicating that attempts were made to repair it. The battalion's tractors were already very busy and towing may not have been possible. The Tiger was doubtless left in the road when it could not be started, and the Americans doubtless bulldozed it into a ditch, where it was photographed. Its number is 3x2 but the middle digit is not visible.
