Description
One of the first 20 Tigers of s.Pz.Abt.503, Tiger 221 was an 'Initial' with 2 pistol ports. Evidence that 'white 221' became 'black 232' is scant, but if we exclude all Tigers whose fate is known, then only two candidates remain: 'white 221' and 'white 223'. We can see that Tiger 'white 223' lost its rear right mudflap before renumbering, and its Balkenkreuz' position is wrong. Tiger 'white 221' matches 'black 232' in both respects.
