Description
Trainees at Paderborn tank school are taking a break by their tank, which appears to be broken down. The tank's starter adaptor device is sitting on the rear deck, with the starter handle shaft protruding through it, indicating that attempts were made to start the engine.

The Tiger is parked on an entrance road in the Paderborn complex, facing the gate on Piepenturmstrasse. The tank garages can be seen. Both of the end walls arrowed in this aerial view of Paderborn are visible in the photo.

A 2017 satellite photo shows what must be the same tree (arrowed). The outline of the Tiger has been drawn here.
We can assume that this is Tiger 250055 because it belongs to the Paderborn training school and only a single Tiger of this particular version was issued to them (Type 2 side skirts, and extended hull front). The damaged mudflap does resemble a known photo of Tiger 250055.
