Description

Although we can't see all of the equipment being used here, it's a safe bet that these Tiger crew are using a heater to run warm water through the cooling system of the engine of their Tiger to get it started. Cold weather was a recurring problem for German tanks. The tubing was supplied with Tigers and could also be used to pass hot water from a running Tiger through a cold one.

Subtle marks on the mudflap prove that this is Tiger "822" of "Das Reich".
