Col. Lang launches Operation Ochsenkopf

Seated in a Steyr 1500 staff car, while Kampfgruppe "Lang" drive past on the road to Beja, Oberst Lang peers at a map. He has been ordered to assemble the attack on Beja in a single day, and neither he nor the unit commanders had time to study the terrain ahead. It is the morning of 26 February 1943.
