Description
Tigers 312 and 324 of s.Pz.Abt.504 were lost on 14 September 1944 thanks to a bad corner. The Tigers, part of a battle group returning from a fight with American tanks, failed to take a sharp corner on an unlit road in darkness. Both of them fell into a ravine and could not be recovered.
Seventy years later, the corner was still not marked.
