About this detail of the Tiger
This kit has a circuit board for the turret interior. It's part J41. The instructions of kit 5003, for example, tell you to paint it black.
The real board was coloured in subtle shades of dark grey and metallic blue. The central switch is lacking its cover in this photo, but like the switch to its right, it was bare metal.
Rye Field fix this board to the kit's turret wall, but the real board stood a few centimeters clear of the wall. You could thin the upper edge of part J41 to create the illusion of a gap.
