About this detail of the Tiger
Here is one of the ammunition bin covers inside this Rye Field Tiger. It's in the forward right-hand corner of the hull's main compartment, easily visible when the turret is lifted off. And it is missing some equipment at the place indicated.
"Initial Tigers", as built by this kit, stored the crew's mess tins in this compartment. This is approximately how they looked. These two are fixed to the forward end of the ammunition bin cover that I mentioned already. They are just behind the bulkhead.
The mess tins were strapped into dedicated holders. This is the position of the holders in the Tigers built by this kit. There were two more on the corresponding place on the left side of the tank, and the fifth one was at the left middle.
Neither the mess tins nor the empty holders are provided in this Rye Field kit.
