Description
This Tiger is known only from its wreckage, filmed by the Americans on 27 June 1944 at Larderello. Its tactical ID, 201, is painted in the style of the 504 battalion, whose movements coincide with the date and place. Therefore it is one of the two Tigers that broke down and were abandoned on 25th June. Somebody then pushed it into a stream, probably the Americans clearing the road for their advance.
