Description
Crewmen load rounds of 88mm ammunition into an early Tiger 1. Inside the hatch we can see bags of MG ammunition hanging on the inside wall, and beside them a water flask. The loader's hatch, with its complicated watertight frame, was a feature of Tigers until early 1944. This photo is from a set, and the garment on the open hatch matches up to another photo, telling us that it's Tiger "123".
