Description
This study of the front of a Tiger shows various changes made during its months of service. The smoke launchers have been removed, a rain shield has been added on the mantlet, and spare tracks affixed with wire to the superstructure front. Various impact marks bear witness to the tank's battles.
We know this is Tiger "331" because it matches another photo, e.g. the spare tracks chalked with numbers, the rain shield, and the damaged mudflap. In fact there is every reason to think that the photos were taken together.
