Description
The smallest road wheel on an Early Tiger weighed 77kg. These crewmen are apparently using the weight of one wheel to prise the tyre off another wheel. All kinds of maintenance on this wheel system were difficult.
We can tentatively identify this as Tiger "300" of s.Pz.Abt.503 because of the three jerrycans stored above the toolbox, the Type 2 side skirts, and the lack of exhaust shield mounts. But several Tigers could match that description. The identification becomes more certain when we note that there is netting stored on the hull side, a habit of the "300" crew, and indeed the position of the netting here seems to match a known photo of Tiger "300".
