Description
Tiger 831 of Das Reich has been stripped of almost any useful parts, including its wheels. Only the Germans would have gone to this trouble.
It's interesting that the rear wall once had an antenna base welded to it; the weld marks remain on the upper right corner. This Tiger is, at the very least, the 76th in the production sequence. The removal of the antenna bases, to make way for the Feifel system, began with the 11th Tiger. Some tanks were already with their unit when it was removed.
