Description
These tanks have just passed through Chaouat (Shuwat) and are heading for Djedeida. Since the railway line is immediately to the right of this road, they have not yet crossed the canal. The more distant tank is Tiger 223, with its characteristic wooden boxes attached to its turret bin. This is January 1943 and the tanks are newly arrived in Tunisia.
