Description
The explosion that wrecked Tiger 334 was severe enough - or the welds were weak enough - that its hull side plate detached. A newsreel camera peers into the gap. At the rear, the fuel tank and fans seem nearly intact, but there is great destruction nearest to us, at the front. The internal bracing of the hull remains in place.
