Description
An American soldier poses with the wreck of Tiger 211. This tank was involved in a battle on 21 June 1944, but was reportedly left here during a road march. That raises questions about the AP round embedded in its track. Did the Tiger drive some distance with that in place? Why would nobody remove it? It's more likely that the Americans fired on the abandoned wreck as a precaution.
