Description
Two German soldiers squelch through mud on the Via Nettuno, at the junction with the Via Aprilia, in Cisterna in 1944. The railway embankment looms behind them. A Tiger of s.Pz.Abt. 508 is stopped on the road, pointed to Nettuno; as an earlier photo shows, two other Tigers are ahead of it. The next photo in the sequence has a better view of the Tiger.
