Description
Tiger "801" belongs to the staff section, "Das Reich" 8 company. Here, its crew of 5 men post for a portrait. This is in early 1943 during the fighting around Kharkiv. The tank shows some damage to its skirts. The misaligned digits, and the unusual sprocket wheel, prove that it's the same Tiger from another photo of Tiger "801".
