Description
A frontal view of Tiger "S11" of Das Reich. It is unusual in having a "flat" mantlet designed for the Tiger (P). The right-hand side skirts have been swapped around and we can see an inner one placed in the front position, without an end cap. On the tank's left side is a rare sight indeed; an S-mine is loaded into the launcher tube.
The mantlet, and some marks on the sides of the tank, prove that it's the same tank in this photo of Tiger S11.
