Description
Tiger 131 was driven here after its capture near Montarnaud. This field was nicknamed "Red Cap Alley" and the British kept many vehicles here, mostly their own damaged tanks but also some German material.
The Tiger has some battle damage but is in very good condition. Its foremost road wheel is missing, but its own crew most probably omitted the front wheels, standard practice with Tigers. The Feifel filter closest to us has the number "122" written on it, reflecting this Tiger's chassis number 250122.
This is exactly where Tiger 131 was parked in another photo.
