Description
An American soldier sits on an abandoned Tiger in Tunisia, near Fochville. This Tiger of s.Pz.Abt.504 has an unusual modification; of the 4 mudguard segments on the side, the front one is from a much older Tiger. It has a reinforcing strip at the top and is longer than the other segments; witness how it overlaps. It must have come from a Tiger of s.Pz.Abt.501, who were blended into this battalion in March 1943.
