Pz.3 number 242 knocked out

This is one of the tanks knocked out on 31 January 1943 while trying to reach Robaa. It can be seen in one photo of Tiger 231. It belonged to the 2nd company of s.Pz.Abt.501, as its turret number indicates. The digits are white filled with red. The dark insides of the turret doors suggest that the tank was painted Dunkelgrau when new; it now has a camouflage pattern, possibly the 2nd "tropical" scheme.
