Description
A DUKW squeezes past a Tiger that was knocked out in the battle of Biazzo Ridge on 11 July 1943. The DUKW is coming from the direction of Vittoria towards Gela or Niscemi. The soot-blackened turret indicates that the Tiger caught fire. The cable behind it indicates an attempt to tow it away. It will eventually be moved off the road by breaking its tracks and rolling it.
