Description
Where the road from La Pesta approaches the Strada Provinciale Collacchia, this Tiger had to be abandoned on 22 June 1944. An American soldier takes his opportunity for a souvenir photo or two. The hull camouflage of this wreck identifies it as Tiger "200". Its turret is blackened from fire and the number cannot be read, but given that the battalion had seen only a few days' action when this Tiger was lost, it is probably the original turret.
