Description
Tiger 843 of Panzerregiment 7 was demolished at the battle of Hunt's Gap. By some chance the explosion threw out its left-hand track unit almost intact, the torsion bars still threaded through the side wall. Although the surrounding land looks like good tank country, it was so soft during the battle that the Tigers were confined to a road, with disastrous results.
