Description
The front hull of a battle-damaged Tiger has several impact scars and one complete penetration. The solid shot has apparently been dug out from it and lies on the glacis plate. This is apparently the end of this Tiger's life; already it seems that parts have been stripped from it. The turret will be used in 1944 on a training tank.
A tiny dent above the driver's visor, and the spare tracks beside it, identify the hull with another photo of a Tiger. The "flat" mantlet with a sloping rain shield seems identical to that Tiger's turret also.
