Tiger 131 on Point 174

This is Tiger 131, sitting exactly where its German crew abandoned it. A tow cable protrudes from its deck. The loader's hatch is shattered by a direct hit. The tank's distinctive step and handle serve to identify it, but it also matches a better Tiger 131 photo

The location can be deduced from the horizon. On our right we can see trees near Montarnaud. At our left is Djebel El Aroussia and a distinctive pattern of small hills. We are on "Point 174", a hill called Gueriat el Atach in Tunisia. British battle reports state that the Tiger was hit and abandoned exactly here.
