Ruined fort at the Karachoum Gap

Tigers from 1.co s.Pz.Abt. 501 passed by this ruined fort on 20 January 1943. To the right of the wall, the Karachoum Gap is just visible. The soldiers seem to be storing supplies beside the fort, before checking the area with a mine detector. Meanwhile, the Tigers are striking out into the desert toward Spikha.
