Film of the Tebourba area

This is a scene from the documentary "At the Front", directed by Col. Darryl F. Zanuck for the U.S. Signal Corps.

The area shown is to the immediate west of Tebourba. The town itself is visible in the distance, and Tunis can be seen on the horizon.

An analysis of the camera's perspective tells us that the camera crew climbed this narrow gorge on Djebel El Aroussia and filmed from the place indicated here. They ignored a nearby path, presumably because of the danger of air attack. (The straight white line is a modern firebreak.)
