Mud at Sidi N'sir

This photo was taken at Sidi N'sir, on the road to Mateur. The tree in the distance marks the road junction; the railway station is out of frame to the right. The muddy conditions correspond with reports from Operation Ochsenkopf, so we can assume this is the aftermath of the battle, and the date is February 27 1943 or shortly afterward.
