Battalion logo on Tiger 823

The Tigers of the 2nd company were decorated with a red rhomboidal Panzer symbol, in red, containing a German 's' to denote a 'schwere' Panzer. They also bore a tiger logo on the front and rear of the hull. The position of these markings varied between vehicles. When spare tracks were added here, some Tigers needed a third logo.

This vehicle is Tiger 823, demolished at Ksar Mezouar and used as a test target by the British.
