Tiger 223 on the Jedeida bridge

In early January 1943 the 2nd company of s.Pz.Abt.501 arrived piecemeal in Bizerte and drove to the barracks in Manouba via the bridge at Jedeida. This is Tiger 223 entering the bridge span, followed by a Pz.3 and other vehicles. This was one of the very few places where the Oued Medjerda could be crossed by a heavy tank in 1943.
