Carrier knocked out near Sidi N'sir

This is by the railway line southwest of Sidi N'sir; the station's trees can be seen at the left. The effort to supply ammunition for the 25pdr guns led to many casualties on the British side, including this carrier.

According to one account of the Sidi N'sir battle, "a number of vehicles were burning along the road Sidi N'sir-Hunt’s Gap, some of them filled with ammunition and ammonal".
