Operation Ochsenkopf begins

This Sd.Kfz.232 armoured car and the Tiger behind it are part of Kampfgruppe Lang, advancing towards Beja. The wrecked Italian vehicle at left was part of the battle group but was pushed off the road, presumably because it broke down. This photo was probably taken on the 27th. The captured American jeep at the right may be the property of the German official photographer.
