Wrecked Panzers at Hunt's Gap

The front hull of a completely demolished Tiger lies at Hunt's Gap, debris from Operation Ochsenkopf. It is very likely part of Tiger 811, whose turret is only meters away. The cupola is buried, upside down, in the foreground. At left, an almost intact Pz.4 is examined by American troops.
