Tiger 142 newly arrived in Tunis

Tigers were fitted with narrow 'transport' tracks while crossing the Mediterranean by barge. This photo shows the tactical number 142 painted on the turret. It has a lighter colour inside than outside. It seems this tank was painted with the tropical brown colour, numbered, then overpainted or camouflaged with tropical green which is more suitable for northern Tunisia.
