Description
The Karachoum Gap posed a problem for the tanks of Kampfgruppe Lüder during Operation
Eilbote. There was no road through that pass in 1943. While the combat engineers built
an earthen ramp, Tiger 121 and other tanks scanned the landscape for enemy activity.
