Description
This is Tiger 121, commanded by Lt. Vermehren. It is distinguished by the MG34 ammunition box which the crew have attached to the right rear mudguard. This photo was taken on 20 January 1943, because the Tiger is crossing Oued Maarouf after passing through the Karachoum Gap following a thrust towards Spikha.
The location is known by the line of hills.
