Plate is not stored on roof
There is no storage position on the outside of the tank for a sealing plate for the engine hatch. Either the plate is stored internally, or the tank is not capable of submersion.

Clips to hold a sealing plate (for the engine hatch) are located on the hull roof, behind the driver's hatch.
