22mm cable with the ends to the rear
The tow cable has a diameter of about 22mm. The ends of the tow cable are in clips on the engine deck. The cable loops back at the front of the hull roof, beside the crew hatch.
Each cable runs through 3 large clips on the hull roof, and a small clip near the headlight.
The two largest clips are visible in any side view, even when not dangling like this. They are over the 2nd and 4th road wheel axles.
32mm cable with the ends to the front
The tow cable has a diameter of 32mm. The tow cable ends are in clips beside the crew hatches. Each cable runs through 2 large clips on the hull roof, and it loops back on the engine deck. The clips are visible in any side view. The forward one is between the 3rd and 4th road wheel axles, while the rear one is between the 5th and 6th axles.
