Every Panzer was issued with a small box of tools and spare parts for its main gun. This box was almost always present in the tank, because it was essential to keep the gun operational.
This is the contents of the toolbox for a Tiger 1.
In the Tiger 1, this box was kept on the turret floor. A simple frame with a strap locked it in place.
Ustar give us the frame on the turret floor (a very thick version of the frame). They don't give us the box.
